Full job description

Are you passionate about social media, content creation and staying ahead of the latest trends? We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social & Content Executive to join our marketing team.

In this role, you will help bring the Crafter’s Companion brand to life across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest. From creating engaging content and supporting campaign shoots to scheduling posts, spotting trends and analysing performance, no two days will be the same.

We are looking for someone who is creative, organised and eager to learn, with experience working in social media for a retail or eCommerce brand. You will have strong copywriting skills, a good eye for photography and video, and a genuine passion for creating content that connects with audiences.

What you’ll be doing

Creating engaging, social first content across multiple platforms.
Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns.
Scheduling and publishing content across our social channels.
Monitoring trends, community engagement and competitor activity.
Reporting on social performance and using insights to help shape future content.
Supporting content shoots, product launches and events.
Helping to develop and grow our social presence across key platforms.

Skills and experience we're looking for

Strong writing and communication skills, with excellent attention to tone and detail.
Professional experience using social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
A good understanding of current social media trends and content formats. TikTok Shop experience would be an advantage.
Experience editing video and creating basic designs using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or CapCut.
Experience using social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite.
Highly organised, proactive and eager to learn.
Photography experience is highly desirable.
1 to 2 years’ experience working in social media, ideally within a retail or eCommerce environment.
A genuine interest in crafting would be a bonus.
