Full job description

Man and Van Operative - London

Moviist Ltd is a growing London-based man & van moving service. looking for reliable, physically fit, and customer-focused operatives to join our team on a flexible-hours basis.

This is a hands-on role — not just a driving job. You’ll drive a company-provided van between jobs, load and unload customers’ belongings, safely handle light furniture and other items, and provide a professional service from start to finish.

Hours will vary depending on customer demand, with opportunities for regular and additional shifts as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Drive company vans safely between customer locations
Load, transport and unload furniture, boxes and other belongings
Work solo or as part of a 2-man team depending on the job
Protect customer belongings throughout every move
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
Provide friendly, professional customer service
Follow manual-handling, health & safety and road-safety procedures

Requirements

Full UK Manual driving licence (essential)
Van driving experience (essential)
English speaker
Permanent right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available
Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting daily
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Flexible availability including weekends
Previous removals or logistics experience preferred but not essential
No unspent criminal convictions
