In this role you will:

Play an active part across tannery operations, supporting the safe and efficient transformation of raw hides into leather products.
Drive a forklift truck on a regular basis and so holding and maintaining a valid forklift truck licence is essential.
Carry out a variety of hands-on production tasks - with an initial focus on the collagen dispatch operation.
Take responsibility for maintaining quality and consistency, ensuring customer specifications are met at every stage.
Work across different operational areas as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and uphold a strong “safety-first” mindset at all times.
Identify and escalate any issues relating to safety, quality, or production performance.
Maintain clean, organised, and safe working environments that reflect high operational standards.
Contribute to team capability by supporting training, mentoring, and cross-skilling opportunities.
Play a part in meeting production targets while ensuring quality is never compromised.
