Overview
We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Installation Improver / Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for mechanical systems, construction, and maintenance to further develop their expertise within a professional and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning systems across residential and commercial projects, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout all works.
A strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment repair, and the ability to work independently or within a team will be beneficial in this role.
Duties
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems within commercial and residential properties
- Support engineers in interpreting technical schematics and system layouts
- Carry out planned maintenance and servicing of air conditioning equipment
- Assist with fault finding, diagnostics, and equipment repairs
- Work on split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, and ventilation systems
- Ensure all installations and repairs are completed to a high standard
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and site regulations
- Work professionally with customers and other trades on site
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience or training within HVAC or air conditioning preferred
- F-Gas qualification preferred
- Basic knowledge of installation and servicing procedures
- Experience with split and VRV/VRF systems is an advantage
- Ability to understand technical drawings and schematics
- Full UK driving licence required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
