About us:

Four Points Flex by Sheraton Brighton enjoys a prime location on Brighton’s famous seafront. The hotel is steps away from the beach, Brighton Conference Centre and the great shops and entertainment venues of the town centre. You can expect a warm welcome from the friendly team at Four Point Flex by Sheraton Brighton The purpose of this role is to provide a warm, friendly and efficient food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are always delivered and maintained in line with our guest expectations.

The Role:

Ensuring that all guests are appropriately attended to and that every phone call is handled in a courteous and professional manner.
Checking guests in & out
Taking reservations over the phone and making sure all guest s receive email confirmations promptly.
Coordinating guests and colleagues during an emergency and have good knowledge of fire procedures
To be fully aware of the Hotel’s Fire Safety procedures and Health and Safety regulations
Ensuring that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with the Health and Safety regulations, reporting any faults to the maintenance and/or management.
Dealing with complaints quickly and efficiently and find suitable solutions to any problems that may arise
To liaise with guests and other departments, passing relevant information onto staff especially specific requirements or arrangements.
Assisting with all departments in times of pressure – where reasonably possible.
Ensuring proper handling of O.O.O rooms with maintenance and housekeeping departments.
Obtaining feedback from guests, using this to improve services and passing the information to the senior management and other relevant HOD’s
Participate in all activities related to the process of allocating rooms in order to meet guests’ needs.
Ensure that Billing Instructions are accurate and clear.
To be aware of and promote all services offered in the Hotel
Ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
Ensuring that daily procedures are followed and completed correctly
Ensuring daily banking is correct
Making sure that Company policy and the Vision are always followed
Replying to guests’ email or telephone enquiries, such as group bookings promptly and efficiently when the person responsible is not available or busy with other activities.
Reporting and recording no-shows daily
Ensuring all pre –authorizations are completed and report any declined ones.
Ensuring every reservation has been either preauthorized, reported or cancelled in order to maximize revenue and occupancy.
To take overall personal pride in appearance and work performance
Create a warm and friendly environment for you and your colleagues
