Night Porter

DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham Gateway
Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham Gateway is looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Night Porter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied hospitality role and takes pride in delivering outstanding guest service throughout the night.

As our Night Porter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel overnight, supporting our guests while preparing the hotel for the following day.

Key Responsibilities

Set up conference and meeting rooms to the required standards for events and functions.
Provide professional and efficient bar service during the evening.
Assist with reception duties, including checking guests in and out, answering telephone calls, handling reservations, and responding to guest enquiries.
Carry out regular security and fire safety checks throughout the hotel.
Ensure all public areas are clean, tidy, safe, and well presented.
Support guests with any overnight requests in a friendly and professional manner.
Complete overnight administrative tasks and hand over effectively to the morning team.
Work as part of the hotel team to deliver the high standards expected of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
Is reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
Is organised and able to manage a variety of tasks throughout the shift.
Has previous experience in a hotel, reception, bar, or hospitality environment (preferred but not essential).
Is flexible and available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
