Full job description

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join Adamport Fire Protection Services. This is a UK-based, site-led role involving regular office and regional travel, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

This role is responsible for the planning, delivery and control of multiple projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and fully compliant. It’s a senior operational role offering real responsibility, autonomy and long-term progression within a growing business.

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects, across multiple live sites
Plan and coordinate labour, materials and resources efficiently while maintaining project programmes in line with client and contractual requirements
Ensure all works are delivered safely, compliantly and to the required quality standards, working closely with site managers, supervisors and operatives
Act as a senior operational lead, resolving issues proactively and supporting smooth project delivery from start to finish

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

Proven experience in operations or contracts management, managing multiple sites and teams
Experience working within quality-controlled environments, ensuring works are delivered in line with approved specifications, tested systems and industry standards, with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy and safety
Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to read drawings, specifications and construction programmes
