Vehicle paint sprayer

Martin Williams (Hull) Ltd is a well-established and reputable company specialising in high-quality vehicle finishing and refurbishment. With a strong presence in the commercial vehicle sector, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent workmanship and outstanding customer service.

The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our team in Hull. This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, offering a great work-life balance while working within a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare HGVs and commercial vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
Mix and match paint to precise specifications
Apply paint using spray equipment to achieve a high-quality finish
Carry out minor repairs to damaged bodywork prior to painting
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and customer standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a vehicle paint sprayer (HGV/commercial experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with modern paint systems and equipment

Desirable

Experience working on HGVs, trailers, or fleet vehicles
NVQ/City & Guilds qualification in Vehicle Body Repair or Paint
Good understanding of industry health and safety practices
