Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our growing business.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Sage 50 and good experience in day-to-day account management, bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, and business finance administration. Experience working with an online retail or e-commerce business would be an advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounts using Sage 50
Process sales invoices, purchase invoices, payments, and receipts
Complete bank reconciliations and supplier account reconciliations
Manage payroll and payroll records
Prepare payroll information, payslips, PAYE, NI, pension, and related submissions
Prepare monthly reports and support management accounts
Monitor costs, margins, and business expenses
Support VAT records and financial compliance
Work closely with the management team to provide clear financial information
Help improve accounting processes and internal controls

Requirements:

Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
Experience with payroll processing
Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration
Good understanding of business accounts and financial reporting
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good Excel skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with online business, Amazon, Wayfair, eBay, or e-commerce platforms would be beneficial

Pay: £24,420.00-£45,500.00 per year
