Overview
We're looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our busy, food-led pub on the stunning North Norfolk coast.

As the face of the business, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the pub, leading a great team, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and ensuring everything operates smoothly behind the scenes.

You'll be a natural people person with previous management experience in a similar hospitality environment, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to inspire and develop your team. In return, you'll have the opportunity to put your own stamp on a thriving business and play a key role in its continued success.

Responsibilities

Leading from the front and creating a positive, motivated team culture.
Delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining high standards throughout the pub.
Managing and developing your team through recruitment, training and ongoing support.
Driving sales and profitability while keeping a close eye on costs.
Overseeing rotas, stock, administration and all aspects of the day-to-day operation.
Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure a consistently great food and drink offer.
Ensuring compliance with licensing, health and safety, and company procedures.
Spotting opportunities to improve performance and helping the business continue to grow.
Building strong relationships with regulars, visitors, suppliers and the wider community.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience leading successful teams in a hospitality environment
Leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
Is passionate about great food, drink and guest service.
Can motivate, coach and develop a team to deliver their best.
Is organised, proactive and thrives in a busy environment.
Has strong commercial awareness and understands how to drive sales while managing costs.
Has excellent communication skills and enjoys building relationships with guests and colleagues alike.
Stays calm under pressure and can adapt quickly when the unexpected happens.
