Full job description

Alexander Scott's Eventide Home is a residential care home facility situated in Huntly. At Scott's we value compassion, care and strive to provide a high standard of person centred care, whilst enabling residents to live life to the full and active a life as possible.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Chef/Cook to join our team. You will be required to prepare, cook and serve the residents daily meals, adapting meal choices to support those that may require a specialised diet. You will work with other Chefs/Cooks to formulate weekly stock orders. You will be asked to be involved with resident nutritional meetings, listening to their preferences, formulating menu plans that support this. You will be required to maintain and comply with Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas following Cooksafe guidelines and house rules. You may be required to supervise and train staff as part of your role.

The hours of work are as follows: 4 days per week, 7:30am till 5pm this includes every other weekend. Shift pattern may vary depending on holiday cover.

The successful candidate must have previous experience working within this environment.

All roles are subject to references and a PVG check
