Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Location: Harper Contracts (Insch) Ltd, Unit 3 North Road Industrial Estate, Insch, AB52 6XP
Contract: Permanent (3-month trial as standard)
Hours: Part-time – working hours and days will be discussed at interview stage, with flexibility available for the right candidate
Salary: Competitive, discussed at interview

About the Role
Harper Contracts (Insch) Ltd is a busy haulage, wood recycling and wood pellet manufacturing company. We are looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join and support our office team.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable and comfortable working in a busy environment. Previous administrative experience would be beneficial, although we are also happy to consider someone who is keen to learn and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming visitors and answering telephone calls professionally
Handling enquiries by telephone, email and in person
Processing customer and supplier orders, invoices and general data entry
Using company systems including Sage, Microsoft Excel and MaintainX, with training provided where required
Organising general office administration, including filing, photocopying and scanning
Managing incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
Providing general administrative support to management and colleagues as required

What We’re Looking For

A positive and helpful attitude
Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
A friendly and approachable manner with good communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a small, busy team
Good general computer skills
Experience using Sage, Microsoft Excel or MaintainX would be an advantage, but inot essential as training can be provided
