Permanent contract

Monday – Thursday 39 hour working pattern

Perry of Oakley Ltd, a manufacturer of bulk materials handling equipment requires a trainee mechanical fitter to join their mechanical assembly department. The company has a strong 70+ year heritage in the agricultural and biomass sectors as well as other allied industries. They have been awarded the SHAPA Exporter of the Year as well as being one of the UK’s top 100 SMEs in recent years.

This is an excellent opportunity for employment on a permanent contract in a successful growing manufacturing environment.

Key Skills

This is a great trainee job for someone who wants a career in engineering or manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn new skills, be energetic and willing to take a proactive approach to the sheet metal requirements in a busy engineering environment. The role is hands on and can be physically demanding due to the nature of the product.

Job Type: Full-time: Monday to Thursday 6.45am to 5pm with 30 mins for lunch. Total of 39 hours a week
