Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join our legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support Our clients with regard to Wills LPAs and Probate. The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. We would be especially interested in someone with other skills such as the ability to assist in conveyancing, and / or other areas of legal practice or even in office management

The position is likely to be full-time but could be part-time for the right candidate

Responsibilities

The ability to work alongside the director with preparing legal documents, including wills, trusts, and probate applications, and the ability to work independently on basic files
Conduct legal research and organise case files efficiently
Manage correspondence with clients, authorities, and third parties via email and telephone
Maintain accurate records of case progress and deadlines using organisational tools
Draft standard legal documents and correspondence using Microsoft Word
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates using Microsoft Outlook
Utilise the case management system to manage the files generally, and our CRM to manage the onboarding of new clients
Ideally the ability to work in other areas of the business or the willingness to learn how to do so

Qualifications

Good basic education
Proven communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Good IT literacy and familiarity with legal software is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role specialising in private client work

This role offers an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to contribute to high-quality legal services while developing their professional expertise.

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
