Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in food preparation and culinary arts to showcase their talents in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals according to recipes and menu specifications
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Assist in planning menus and developing new dishes to enhance our offerings
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing up and sanitising work surfaces and equipment
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure ingredients are stored correctly

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standard
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience in catering environments is desirable
Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
