Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Window and Door Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for on-site measuring and installing upvc windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality, safety, and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of skills to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

Measure openings accurately and prepare surfaces for window and door installation
Install, secure, and seal windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
Remove old fixtures carefully to prevent damage to surrounding structures
Ensure all installations comply with schematics, building codes, and safety regulations
Conduct quality checks to verify proper fit, operation, and insulation of installed units
Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure efficient workflow
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Requirements

Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry, or general building work
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication processes
Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings for precise installations
Ability to interpret technical instructions and follow safety protocols diligently
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting components
