Label Finishing & Hot Foil Printing Operator (Training Available)
We are a well-established, family-run label manufacturing business with a reputation for producing high-quality label products and delivering excellent service.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for either an experienced Label Finishing & Hot Foil Printing Operator or a motivated individual with experience in manufacturing, print, engineering, machine operation or production environments who is keen to learn a specialist trade.
Full training will be provided to the right candidate who will learn to operate Bar Graphic rewinding equipment and Newfoil hot foil printing machinery while producing high-quality label work for our customers. Working Hours
- 37.5–42.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: Early finish at 1:00pm
The Role
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining label finishing and hot foil printing equipment, ensuring all work meets customer specifications and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate label rewinding, inspection and finishing machinery
- Set up and run hot foil stamping and foil blocking equipment
- Produce finished label work accurately and efficiently
- Carry out quality checks throughout production runs
- Identify and resolve minor machine issues to minimise downtime
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery
- Maintain accurate production records where required
- Ensure a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Assist with other finishing and production tasks as needed, including occasional heavy lifting
About You
We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work. While label industry experience would be highly advantageous, we are also keen to hear from candidates in manufacturing, print, engineering, machine operating, finishing or similar production roles.

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within the label converting, label finishing or label manufacturing industry
- Experience operating label rewinding and inspection equipment
- Experience operating Bar Graphic rewinding machines
- Experience operating Newfoil hot foil printing machinery
- Experience with hot foil stamping, foil blocking or related print-finishing processes
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, fabrication processes or printing machinery
- Experience carrying out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Physical capability for heavy lifting when required

Location
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Skipton on the Airedale Business Centre site which is near Aldi and The Range.
Pay: £24,420.00-£30,940.00 per year
