Popas Kitchen & Bar In Anderby Creek ,Skegness

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook/Chef to join our culinary team at Popas Kitchen & Bar In Anderby Creek ,Skegness . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your culinary skills, contribute to a welcoming dining experience, and develop your career within the hospitality sector. Applicants should have relevant kitchen experience and a commitment to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared fresh, presented attractively, and served promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing as required
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times during food preparation and service
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during meal service periods
Follow all hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage of food items

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Knowledge of culinary techniques across various cuisines is desirable
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential for entry-level applicants
Experience in meal preparation, serving, and working under pressure will be highly regarded
