Senior Carer / Supervisor

We’re seeking dynamic and dedicated team members with a keen eye for detail and a committed approach to supervision. The ideal candidate will be passionate about monitoring the highest standards of care to our large and diverse customer base.

Reliability, commitment, and a passion for care are essential qualities, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet and confidently handle any challenges that arise.

Job role:

The Field Care Supervisor works closely with a team, supported by the Registered Care Manager, Operations support lead, and Senior management team, to ensure compliance across the entire business structure and care delivery processes. Planned duty lists are scheduled for each shift, however you will be expected to think on your feet and understand your customer and staff base to input into this schedule, and have the ability to react to priority and emergency situations that arise.

You are expected to ensure the highest quality of care delivery from the care team, support and monitoring , we conduct assessments and reviews of individual service users and provide practical supervision, instruction, and support to our community care workers, you will also be required to undertake spot checks and performance monitoring. As part of the team, you will monitor and assess service provision to offer valuable and innovative ideas and approaches for improvement and progression, as our business model expands.

You will work closely with the dedicated coordinator to optimise schedules and deploy our reliable workforce, ensuring that all our existing and new service users receive the highest standards in the delivery of care.

The post rotates on a shift basis, involving a shift pattern. Your role will cross between in and out of office hours, you will be responsible for monitoring any out-of-hours enquiries and allocating care staff to cover occasional sickness of rostered staff on early and late shifts. Additionally, you will support the out-of-hours facility on rotating weekends. (There will be standby care staff as the first line of sickness cover.)

The weekend out-of-hours service involves holding the on-call phone and undertaking pre-planned operational requirements. Sickness cover will be sourced from our bank of full-time care staff.

Company vehicles are available for each shift to support you within the role.

Daily Work/Shift Pattern:

AM Shift - 6am to 2pm Mon-Fri - Sat - Sun on rostered shift weekend.

PM Shift - 3pm to 11pm Mon - Fri

Job Role Requirements:

Level 3 Care Qualification (Minimum)

Proven experience in prior post preferable

An application to maintain care delivery compliance, to the highest standards

Full Driving Licence

Good IT Skills in Microsoft word and Excel essential
