Salary: Main Pay Scale £32,916 - £45,352
Contract: Full time, Fixed Term (12 months)

We are looking for a Teacher of PE to join Chantry Academy, where a shared commitment to high expectations and inclusive practice underpins everything we do. This role centres on delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire pupils to participate, improve and succeed, while contributing to a strong and collaborative department. It offers the opportunity to shape positive attitudes to health and wellbeing, support pupils of all abilities to make progress, and play a full part in academy life. Summary of Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver well-structured PE lessons, aligned with the academy curriculum and schemes of work
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Set high expectations to motivate pupils and promote strong progress and outcomes
Contribute to curriculum development, academy priorities and the wider life of the school
Promote effective behaviour, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times
