Summary

We are seeking a dedicated General Maintenance professional to join our team at Ultimate Care UK Ltd in the Ipswich area. This role is vital in ensuring our care home remains a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. We are looking for either 1 full time worker or 2 part time (20 hours per week)
Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
General decorating of the home to keep it in a top presentable condition.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
Collaborate with staff to support the overall safety and comfort of residents.
Qualifications
Proven experience with basic electrical and plumbing as well as general decorating
Ability to work on own initiative identifying areas of concern
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong customer service orientation.
Hold a CSCS card preferable but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
