Full job description

Finance Assistant

Location: Liverpool

Reporting to: Finance Director

We are seeking a motivated and organised person - could be a graduate - to join our architectural practice and work directly with our Finance Director.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in business operations, finance administration, data analysis, and the use of technology to improve business processes. The role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial and financial activities within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Finance Director with day-to-day administrative and finance-related activities.
Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and management information using Excel.
Assisting with project and financial administration.
Maintaining accurate records and business data.
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and AI tools.

Candidate

Degree educated in Business/Finance Management or a related discipline - desirable but not necessary if experienced.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Interested in technology and the practical use of AI in the workplace.

This is not a trainee accountant role. We are seeking a graduate or experienced person with strong business, administrative, analytical, and technology skills who wishes to develop a broad understanding of finance and business operations.

Pay: £24,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
