Technical Designer

About the Role

Do you come from a joinery background with a passion for technical design? Are you looking for a varied, hands-on role where you can grow your expertise and build a long-term career alongside a company with exciting ambitions?

We're looking for a Technical Designer who thrives on problem-solving, takes pride in precision, and wants to be part of something that's genuinely going places.

What You'll Be Doing

Taking bespoke products from initial concept through to manufacture, owning the process from start to finish
Working closely with the sales team to fully understand client specifications and translate them into accurate, buildable designs
Producing detailed technical drawings to the highest standard
Collaborating across departments to ensure designs are delivered on time and to specification

What We're Looking For

A background in joinery, carpentry, or a closely related trade
Experience with SketchUp or CAD software
A sharp eye for detail and a methodical approach to technical work
Strong communication skills, comfortable working between design, sales, and workshop teams
Ambition to grow, develop, and become a true technical expert in your field

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
