Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Sports Coaches to lead and inspire young participants during our summer programmes. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sports and teaching, with the ability to foster a positive and inclusive environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop coaching skills while making a meaningful impact on children's physical activity and teamwork abilities. All positions are paid, ensuring recognised value for your expertise and commitment.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
Organise team activities, games, and drills that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun
Provide clear instructions and demonstrate proper techniques to ensure safety and skill development
Monitor participants’ progress, offering encouragement and constructive feedback
Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Foster a positive environment that encourages participation, confidence, and enjoyment
Collaborate with programme coordinators to schedule sessions and manage equipment logistics
Maintain organisation of sports equipment before, during, and after activities

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching children or young people
Strong knowledge of various sports disciplines relevant to programme activities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage young participants
Organised with the ability to plan sessions effectively within allocated timeframes
Adaptable approach to cater for different age groups and skill levels
Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude towards safety and participant well-being

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
