Position - Office Administrator at Alex & Matteo Estate Agents

Location – Office in SE16

Working Hours – Monday to Friday 09:30 – 18:00

Salary – £30,000.00 + Performance Incentives + Health Insurance

Alex & Matteo Estate Agents are seeking a highly motivated and organised Office / Letting Administrator to provide efficient administrative support to our landlords and tenants, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of our independent, award-winning estate agency in Southeast London.

Based in Bermondsey (SE16), you will be joining an enthusiastic and supportive team that prides itself on delivering a forward-thinking, efficient, and friendly service to our clients and local community. Having proudly won industry awards year after year, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards within the property sector through professionalism, integrity, and transparency.

This role will primarily focus on supporting our landlords and tenants, ensuring all administrative processes are handled accurately and efficiently while helping to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

Managing incoming calls, emails, and general office enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
Preparing and finalising tenancy agreements.
Conducting tenant vetting and referencing through approved referencing companies.
Carrying out pre-tenancy inspections.
Managing property-related administration and records.
Monitoring compliance documentation (Gas Safety, EPCs, EICRs, etc.)
Handling selective licence and HMO licence applications, renewals and compliance matters.
Providing administration support to the property manager.
Assisting with the booking and coordination of property viewings with the team.
Maintaining accurate records for key handling.

Required:

Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to prioritise and organise.
Highly organised and detail-oriented.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Positive, pro-active and flexible approach.
Great attention to detail and accuracy.
Previous experience in lettings, estate agency, or administration is welcomed but not essential, as in office full training will be provided.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
