Refrigeration Service Engineer – Cornwall

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year (DOE)

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting two engineers to support our expanding client base across Devon & Cornwall.

The Role

You’ll cover the Cornwall area, working on a range of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The role includes reactive breakdowns, planned maintenance, and customer-facing work, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and professionalism.

Key responsibilities:

Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment
Working on hydrocarbon systems (experience preferred)
Completing job reports, F-Gas records, and compliance documentation
Carrying out site risk assessments and following safe systems of work
Providing a professional, customer-focused service
Participation in a well-managed on-call rota with appropriate support

What You’ll Need

Essential:

Experience in commercial and industrial refrigeration
F-Gas qualification
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
Good practical understanding of health & safety and risk assessments
Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and customer service skills

Desirable:

Hydrocarbon experience
Manufacturer or OEM training
CO2 experience
