Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Pot Washer/Server to join our team. This is a varied role that combines kitchen cleanliness with front-of-house customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy café environment and being part of a team. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Kitchen Duties

Responsible for washing, sanitising, and organising all pots, pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment
Keeping the kitchen wash-up area clean, organised, and hygienic
Support the kitchen team with additional tasks during busy periods, including organising supplies and stock replenishment
Follow health and safety regulations at all times and ensure hygiene standards are upheld

Front of House Duties

Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests

Skills

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic kitchen safety procedures and hygiene standards is beneficial
