Full job description

Are you a skilled Domestic Appliance Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Join the friendly and reputable team at Home Aids Services.

We are a well-established local company committed to providing fast, reliable, and high-quality repair and maintenance services for a wide range of domestic appliances across Crewe and the surrounding areas. We value expertise, great customer service, and a proactive approach to work.

The Role: What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing various domestic appliances in customers' homes. This includes:

Fault finding and diagnosing issues accurately on appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, electric cookers/ovens, and refrigeration units.
Carrying out effective and efficient repairs to the highest standard.
Providing excellent customer service, clearly explaining the work done and providing advice on repais and sales of new appliance.
Deliver and install new appliances in the local area where a repair is not viable.
Completing all necessary paperwork.

Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

What You'll Need (Essential Skills & Experience)

Experience as a Domestic Appliance Engineer.
Strong technical knowledge and practical experience repairing a wide range of major domestic appliances (as listed above).
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
A valid UK Driving Licence.
A professional, friendly, and reliable approach to customer service.
The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
