Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & Finance Data Admin to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll function and assisting with the organisation's financial operations. This position involves timesheet data entry & review, vehicle tracker investigations, and sales invoicing.

Duties

Preparation & distribution of 200+ timesheets.
Timesheet data entry & review.
Timesheet & vehicle tracker investigations.
Management of engineer timesheet queries.
Assist in processing of sales invoices.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding customer invoicing queries.
Maintain accurate accounts receivable files and records.
Customer account reconciliation.
Prepare and send out statements, reminders, and cash collection documentation to clients.
Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payment is made.
Provide assistance to the accounts payable function as and when required
Ad hoc administrative duties as required.

Experience

Previous experience in a data entry or finance-related role is preferred.
Proficient Excel skills, i.e., spreadsheet management and basic formulas, are highly desirable.
Proficiency in accounting software is preferred.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Working hours are 37.5 per week, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00. Typical shift patterns are 08:00 - 16:00 and 09:00 - 17:00.

22 days per year annual leave entitlement + UK bank holidays.
