Job Overview

Award-winning BusyBus (Sightseeing Day Tours) enters its 23rd year and we are busy!

We are recruiting full-time and part-time drivers for our daily tours to North Wales, The Lakes and Yorkshire.

The successful applicants will have an outgoing personality and be able to deliver a proven narrated tour whilst navigating some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK. An average day-tour is around 10 working hours.

We believe BusyBus provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to "work" whilst genuinely sharing in the fun and excitement that our clients pay for!

BusyBus driver guides enjoy variations to their day-to-day activities that make up a wonderfully diverse and interesting employment, that is based on full-time or part-time.

You do not need previous tour guiding experience for this role. You simply need to be a fun-loving, bubbly personality who is willing to chat with, narrate and verbally entertain your passengers throughout a tour.

Successful applicants will follow a structured training plan after which you will then deliver your driver-guided tours to North Wales, The Lake District, Yorkshire and occasionally, Scotland in one of our Touring minibuses with up to 16 happy, excited passengers!

To become a BusyBus Driver Guide you must possess:

1: A UK driving licence with unrestricted D1 (requiring a category driving test).

2: A CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).

3: A DTC (Digital Tachograph Card).

4: Candidates must live near or have reliable transport to get themselves to and from their work base near Mickle Trafford in Cheshire (Primary work location) and Glegg Street in Liverpool (Secondary work location).

Full and Part Time Options available.

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
