Company Overview

ACS Aviation Industries is a 145 repair station specialising in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Boeing and Airbus structural components. Located in a purpose-built facility in Braintree, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions with exceptional customer service at the core of our operations.

Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Planning & Progress Assistant to join our team.

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Order spare parts and materials required for aircraft component repairs.
Chase suppliers for delivery updates and accurate ETA information.
Maintain accurate records of orders and supplier communications.
Monitor the progress of customer aircraft components through the repair process.
Provide regular progress updates to the Customer Service team, ensuring accurate and timely information is available.
Assist in maintaining production plans and progress reports.
Identify potential bottlenecks and support corrective actions to minimise delays.
Liaise with the Structures Manager regarding inspection schedules and repair completion dates.

Requirements

GCSE C / Grade 4 in both English & Mathematics is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to follow processes and procedures precisely.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong general computer skills.

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm

Please note: This is a full-time, office-based position. Remote or hybrid working is not available.

Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
