Full job description

Horizon Retail Marketing Solutions is a well-established business with offices in the UK, Dubai and the Netherlands. We have over 17 years’ experience designing and producing exciting and innovative retail displays for world class brands and retailers. We work with our international clients to provide a full end to end retail marketing solution from brief development, concepts, CAD, prototypes, full production and finally installation into retail stores.

The Role

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist/ Accounts Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time role working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 2.30pm with semi flexible hours to suit. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking school-friendly working hours. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Key Responsibilities

· Greeting visitors and customers in a professional and friendly manner.

· Answering and directing incoming telephone calls.

· Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.

· Ensuring visitor records and sign-in procedures are maintained

· Preparing and maintaining meeting rooms, co-ordinating catering and refreshments, and ensuring visitors receive a professional and welcoming experience.

· Arranging travel and hotels for colleagues as required.

· Assisting with administrative duties across different departments as required

· Supporting the finance function with day-to-day accounts administration

· Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records

· Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries

· Dealing with procurement for stationery, kitchen and other office requirements.

Key Skills and Competencies

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Professional and confident telephone manner

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

· A positive, proactive, and reliable approach

· Confident user of Microsoft 365 and other digital business systems

· Experience of using Sage 50 Accounts Professional but full training will be provided

· Previous reception or administrative experience preferred

Pay: From £13.20 per hour
