This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the CAMHS team based at Mary Chapman House, supporting the Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for them to be able to provide an efficient service to our service users.
We are looking for someone who can communicate in a professional manner with patients, relatives, professionals, with a compassionate nature and ability to remain calm when working under pressure. You will need to be able to prioritise your workload and to deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy.
This post is part time, office based 15 hours per week, with the days and times to be agreed with the successful candidate.

You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information which may include telephone calls from individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset.
Training will be given; however previous administration experience is essential.
You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems.
You will also be able to evidence working flexibly and have experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintain confidentiality.
You may be asked to undertake other appropriate duties, as directed, being adaptable and flexible to service needs and changes across the locality.

Drafting correspondence and updating records: audio and copy typing all letters, e-mails, summaries and reports paying particular attention to accuracy and presentation, completing within given deadlines.
