Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress/Bartender to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your hospitality skills in a lively dining environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with a passion for excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with licensing laws and safety standards
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, bar counters, and workstations
Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, maintaining accurate records of sales
Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a tidy environment at all times
Respond promptly to guest enquiries or complaints, resolving issues professionally and courteously
Follow food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards throughout service

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is advantageous
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and licensing laws
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions accurately
Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
