Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Performance Bonus

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a driven sales professional who can help develop customer relationships, drive sales growth and identify new opportunities within the independent beer market.
Purpose
This is a sales-focused role with responsibility for growing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities and supporting ecommerce activity through our Shopify wholesale platform.
You'll manage a portfolio of customer accounts, help customers discover new products and promotions, identify opportunities to grow revenue and support the launch of exciting new breweries and beer releases.
We're looking for someone who enjoys talking to customers, spotting opportunities and making things happen.
What You'll Be Doing - Account Management & Sales
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts
- Build strong relationships with pubs, bars, bottle shops and retailers
- Increase customer spend, order frequency and product range
- Promote new product launches, seasonal releases and brewery features
- Reactivate dormant and lapsed customer accounts
- Deliver excellent customer service and account support
- Maintain regular customer contact through phone, email and face-to-face visits where appropriate
- Work towards agreed sales and growth targets
New Business Development
- Identify and win new customer accounts
- Generate and follow up sales opportunities
- Develop opportunities within existing and new territories
- Support onboarding and development of new customers
- Represent Beer Metropolis professionally within the industry
Product & Brewery Development
- Identify exciting new breweries and products for consideration
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence
- Spot emerging trends within the craft beer sector
- Support brewery launches and promotional activity
- Help shape product ranges based on customer demand
Shopify, Ecommerce & Marketing
- Manage customer accounts through our Shopify wholesale platform
- Create and support product launches and promotions
- Help customers engage with online ordering tools
- Support email marketing campaigns and customer communications
- Promote new arrivals, special releases and seasonal offers
- Use Shopify and customer data to identify sales opportunities
What We're Looking For - Essential
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Self-motivated and proactive approach
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good computer skills and confidence using software systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Experience in sales, account management, hospitality or customer service
- Craft beer, drinks or hospitality industry knowledge
- Shopify or ecommerce experience
- Experience using CRM systems
- Digital marketing experience
- Knowledge of the independent beer scene
