Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the processes of manufacturing double glazed units and experience in a warehouse environment. Experience in lead work and Georgian bars is essential for this role, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Opportunities for installing sealed units, windows & doors.

Duties

cut stock sheet glass by hand as per project requirements.
Assemble components and ensure they are ready for further processing or distribution.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Inspect materials for quality assurance before and after procedures.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience working with double glazing, especially lead and film work bevels etc.
Strong knowledge off all glass patterns and glass types
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring precision in cutting tasks.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods and lifting materials as required.
Will be required to attend to customers both in the workshop and on the phone
