Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, providing exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. The ideal candidate will be personable, well-organised, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving change.
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, including food safety standards.
Assist in setting up the bar before opening and cleaning after closing shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Cocktail experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekdays and weekends as required. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy working in a lively environment while providing memorable experiences for guests.
