Activities Coordinator

At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for an activities coordinator to work in one of our residential care facilities, Nightingale Lodge on a part time, 25 hour permanent contract, £13.45 per hour.

The working hours are 10:00am-15:00pm, however the successful candidate must be flexible in event of days out etc.

Nightingale Lodge is an outstanding-rated residential care home in situated in the West Norfolk town of Hunstanton. The home provides short-term, respite care and longer term care and support for up to 29 residents at the home.

Responsibilities of an Activities Coordinator:

Co-ordinate an inclusive program of activities which residents can participate in and help in the care of the residents' physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home.
Ensure the residents are happy and fulfilled in whatever activities they choose and help in the promotion of mental and physical activity by talking to residents, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations.
Help residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence; help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.
