We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join team at HMP Long Lartin, A men's prison, located in the village of South Littleton in the Wychavon district in Worcestershire.

The site currently offers Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm

Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary from £48000-to £52000 per annum.

What you'll be doing

As a Deputy Head of Healthcare your responsibilities will vary. You will:

Will deputise for the Head of Healthcare in all aspects of their role.
Hold a clinical qualifcation (NMC, HCPC) and provide clinical leadership to the healthcare department
Provide day to day operational service delivery and data which has integrity, in a timely manner to meet commissioner expectations.
Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of shared learning.
Deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care within the financial framework that is safe, high quality and in line with CQC requirements.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

Clinical qualification and valid registration
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
Experience of working in CQC or equivalent registered services such as HMIP
Experience of client management or meeting commissioner expectations
Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Understanding of clinical governance
