Full job description

Kings Hill Town Council has a small team of friendly staff and are responsible for running the Kings Hill Community Centre and supporting our Parish Council and local community.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Part-Time Cleaner to join our team located in the Kings Hill Community Centre. The ideal candidate would be a friendly, positive team player who can maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building. We are looking for someone who is reliable and takes pride in their work.

Working Hours:

Saturday mornings (3 hours)

Sunday mornings (3 hours)

AM Shift: Cleaning is required between 5:30am - 8:30am

Key Duties:

· Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including suites, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.

· Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces, furniture, ledges, windowsills to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure all cleaning needs are met.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning products and equipment.
Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes.

· Replenishing consumable items (soap, toilet rolls).

· Provide cover for the other part-time cleaner during periods of absence or annual leave.

Key requirements:

· At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.

· Able to work on own initiative.

· Take pride in their work.

· Have a positive attitude and able to work flexibly.

· Be able to prioritise and possess excellent attention to detail.

· Available to cover other staff when on holiday/sick leave

· Driving Licence
