Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Vinyl Press Labourer to join our production team. This role involves supporting the day-to-day operation of vinyl press machinery, handling materials, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading vinyl materials and finished products.
Assisting with the operation of vinyl press equipment.
Monitoring production processes and reporting any issues.
Carrying out quality inspections on finished products.
Packing, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Supporting other production activities as required.

Requirements

Good attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous manufacturing or factory experience is an advantage but not essential.

Shift times

6am - 2pm Monday to friday

Pay: £27,999.00-£28,080.00 per year
