Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Childcare Practitioner to join our dedicated team. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a caring, reliable, and motivated individual who is passionate about working with children and interested in developing a long-term career in childcare. As a trainee, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a nurturing environment, supporting the development and wellbeing of young children. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop management and leadership skills within the childcare sector.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for:

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioners
Nannies
Babysitters seeking regular work
Teaching Assistants with EYFS experience
Individuals with childcare experience looking to progress into a childminding role
Candidates willing to undertake further training and professional development

Full support and training will be provided for the right candidate

Key Responsibility

Support the safety, welfare, and development of children in our care
Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities
Assist with children's daily routines
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and health and safety
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Support record keeping and childcare documentation
Work independently and take responsibility when required
Assist with school collections and outings where necessary

What we are looking for

Essential:

Genuine passion for working with children
Caring, patient, and responsible nature
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Reliability and professionalism

Desirable:

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
Experience working in a nursery, school, nanny, babysitting, or childcare setting
Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Enhanced DBS Check
Driving licence and access to a vehicle
