We are seeking a Specialist Administrator to join our team at West Ewell Primary School and Nursery, part of Bourne Education Trust.

About West Ewell Primary School and Nursery

West Ewell Primary School and Nursery is a caring and inclusive community school in West Ewell, Epsom. We pride ourselves on exceptional teaching standards and fostering ambition, self-belief, and a love of learning in our pupils.

Position: Specialist Administrator, with current responsibilities for SEND Admin and Medical Needs

Contract: Part time, permanent

Hours: 21 hours / 3 days per week, 37 weeks per year. 8:30am–4:00pm with 30 minute unpaid break for lunch.

Salary: SP4 FTE £25,878, actual £12,454.13

Key responsibilities include:

Work with relevant staff to administer and plan test access arrangements
Ensure that all SEND information on Arbor is accurate and up-to-date including the internal SEND Register
Support the SENDCo in their operation of the SEND policy and coordination of provision
Support the SENDCo in their communications to staff, parents/carers and outside agencies

Requirements include:

Essential

An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
Experience working in an office environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
