Who we are looking for:

Atkore UK is looking for an Assembly Operative to support our continued growth within the Flexicon product range.

What you’ll do:

Pick components and materials required for assembly work according to work orders or schedules

Transport loads to and from the Assembly Department using pallet trucks and other approved equipment
Lift and move boxes of components safely, following manual handling procedures

Keep production and quality related records up to date

Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area

Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
Performs Other Duties as Assigned

What you bring:

Demonstrated ability to use both English language and mathematics
Experience in a manufacturing or picking environment

Able to work as part of a team and as an individual

Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards
Ability to comply with and promote Atkore’s ATIRE and SQDC value

D- All offloading of raw materials achieved in a timely manner

Salary:

£12.71 per hour

Hours of Work:

39 hours per week

Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm
