Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Key Account Director to lead our organisation’s key client relationships and drive business growth. This role involves developing and maintaining strong partnerships with major clients, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership qualities, advanced analysis skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales within a dynamic environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional eager to influence organisational success through strategic account management.

Duties

Develop and implement strategic plans to nurture and expand relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Lead negotiations and close high-value deals, leveraging strong communication skills to articulate value propositions clearly.
Analyse market trends and client data using analysis skills to identify new business opportunities and optimise account performance.
Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, and product development to tailor solutions that meet client requirements.
Utilise Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to manage client information, track interactions, and monitor account progress efficiently.
Provide leadership within the team by mentoring junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving organisational goals.
Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess satisfaction levels, address concerns promptly, and reinforce long-term partnerships.
Prepare detailed reports on account performance metrics for senior management, supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in B2B sales with a strong understanding of key account management principles.
Demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of engaging diverse audiences effectively.
Strong analysis skills with proficiency in interpreting data to inform strategic decisions.
Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is highly desirable.
A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in business administration, marketing or related fields is preferred.
