Full job description

Walk-In Service, Urgent Care Services Fife are currently recruiting for a Receptionist. You will join the Walk-In clinical care services team providing urgent care to 375,000 patients the population of Fife, covering 56 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be flexible, hardworking and friendly. They will provide high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, Walk In Service, Urgent Care Services Fife Staff and colleagues. They will act as the first point of contact for the patients arriving at our Walk In Centre and will display strong communication skills. They will be computer literate. Experience of working with the public would be an advantage.

Rotas will be agreed on a four week rolling basis. This will require post holders to be able to work flexibly between 10:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday which includes all public holidays; this also includes Christmas Day / Boxing Day / New Year’s Day. The post holder would be expected to work these days as a normal working shift should the days fall on their agreed rota days. There may also be a requirement to work in the out of hours period and additional hours for Public Holidays and Protected Learning Time
