Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper /Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various office software, including Sage 50 Accounts/ Sage 50 Payroll, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.
Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
Organising haulage
Handle incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
Assist in bookkeeping tasks , including invoicing/ purchase orders/ purchase ledger.
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required.
Support team members with administrative tasks and project coordination.
Maintain office supplies inventory and order new materials as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Sage 50 and Sage Payroll is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
