Maintenance Technician – Full Time

Location: Skegness/ Onsite
Company: Hames Chocolates Ltd
Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM

Hames Chocolates Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Skegness.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on chocolate production and packing machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and mechanical failures.
Liaise with machinery manufacturers regarding spare parts, technical information, and breakdown support.
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers, including electricians.
Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records and associated paperwork.
Adhere to all company Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures.
Work closely with other departments to support efficient production operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across departments.
