Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises during evening hours. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or a background in commercial cleaning to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking part-time or full-time employment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal spaces
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
Clean and sanitise restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
Good organisational skills to manage tasks within allocated timeframes
Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, or polishers is advantageous
Reliable with a professional attitude and good communication skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
