Full job description

The Club

The Oxford and Cambridge Club is an exclusive private members Club with a Grade II*-listed Clubhouse in central London. The Club has 46 bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, 3 banqueting suites, 2 bars, 2 squash courts, a billiards room and extensive libraries. The Club has nearly 5000 members.

The Role

We are recruiting for a Room Attendant to join the Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a 5 star environment. We are looking for someone who is highly personable, passionate about delivering five star service in a busy working environment. The role is a full time position working 40 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

The Person

Reliable, professional and good team player.
Able to work unsupervised
Good attention to detail.
Have good communication skills, engage well with the members and very much a team player

Main Duties

Responsible for keeping bedrooms and public areas clean, safe, stocked and maintained.
Operate laundry and housekeeping equipment; washing machine, dryer, steam machine, carpet shampooing machine etc.
Transport dirty linen and rubbish from the floors to the designated areas on regular intervals throughout the day
